XenWord has the option to add conversations and alerts to the WordPress toolbar. Since XenWord version above 2.1.0.03, designers can add dashicons to conversations and alerts.
For versions prior to 2.4.3, simply add the following to the WordPress theme style.css file. Versions after 2.4.3 may modify the xenword.css file to change the dashicons.

A common installation stumbling block for people is to not align IDs. Once the XenWord plugin is installed they will try to login with their XenForo user_id and receive a permission denied on the WordPress side.
Alignment of user accounts is very important. The XenForo account user_id will take over and must match a WordPress ID so that roles and capabilities are set properly.

Create a file called WPPosts.php.
Copy and paste the code below into the file.
Change the class to the directory structure you would like
If you keep the class as TRN_XenWord_Model then you must create the directories under the XenForo/library
Change the path to wp-blog-header.php
Modify the numberposts to meet your desires
