And the really import work is still done on fairly ancient mainframe
operating systems. It's too much trouble to change to *nix or Windows.

It might be more accurate to say that Ubuntu is FREE and has been FREE for
years, yet most reject Ubuntu as garbage. Imagine a free OS that nobody
wants. That should tell you everything you need to know about it.

Live with it.

Your buddy on the windows.vista.general forum is continuing his Ubuntu
countdown. He subtracts from the count every day. Are you going to post
the "Quote of the Day" every day now? Seems like you and Kevin are just
made for each other.

Just FYI.

Your lies tell everyone all they need to know about you.

You have to live with your lies. NASA uses Linux. Whole departments of
governments use Linux. Shrek was made with Linux. 14,000,000 million
desk top users are happily running Ubuntu. You are entitled to your own
opinion but you're not entitled to your own facts.

I didn't mention Ubuntu. Personally, I think there are better Linux
distributions - at least for many applications. One of the benefits of
*nix is choice - you can easily select the proper tool for the job rather
than be stuck with "one size fits none" as with MS.

Course Frank is too stupid to realize that the world ran just fine

I run Ubuntu, I have a VM of it running right now.
My point is that there is no market for it in business especially in
datacenters.
Businesses run Red Hat, SuSe, Debian, etc.
Ubuntu is primarily a desktop OS, not a datacenter OS.
