Apple Inc has a habit of releasing information during CES – even though they do not participate in the electronics show. This year is no exception. Today’s announcement was an eye-popping number of sales in December 2013; over $1 billion is sales in the last month of last year. The total sales for the year were $10 billion.
According to Apple, “App Store customers downloaded almost three billion apps in December making it the most successful month in App Store history. Apple’s incredible developers have now earned $15 billion on the App Store.”
