My LAN (Workgroup) has been Working OK for years
Now when trying to access the Network through Windows Explorer I get :
"Not accessible, you might not have permission to use the network
resource"
"Not enough server storage to process this request"
(This message pops up on any PC/Laptop that I try to access the workgroup
from)
The "network locations" column shows my PC as "LAN, but the others as
"Internet"
The only thing I can think may have stuffed things was an attempt to
access a mobile phone using Bluetooth that I abandoned when it didn't
work. (Since uninstalled)
ISP access is via a Cable Modem :
Two PCs are WinXP Sp3, another is Win96SE (connected to a router via
Ethernet cable).
Two laptops are Win7 Home (connected to the router via wifi)
Listed "protocols" :-
LAN "profiles" (Properties button avail) yes/no
Client for Microsoft Networks yes
Server Advertising protocol NO
Symantec Network filter driver NO
File and Printer Sharing NO
QoS Packet scheduler NO
NW Link NETBIOS NO
NW Link IPX/SPX Netbios NO
Net BEUI Protocol NO
Internet Protocol Yes
Ran the Network connection wizard, no change.
All the protocols are listed as "ticked" but it is strange that their
"properties are unavailable?
All the PCs/Laptops are accessing internet/mail etc through the router OK,
so I am loath to fiddle with stuff I know nothing about.
Any suggestion of where to start?
(For now I am using a USB stick to transfer files)
