One thing that should always accompany any
suggestion/solution/recommendation is a phrase such as "as far as I know",
"I think", "to the best of my knowledge" etc.
Considering yourself infallible and being offended by any suggestion to the
contrary would not be of much concern to me if it wasn't on such public
domain. When you insist on an erroneous instruction/comment in a forum, you
may cause a participant much unneeded waste of time and effort, not to
mention potential harm to their device or files. Please do not take an
invalidation of your point so personally, we are all here to help one
another.
