I'm not sure you can do that.
However, you *can* create an Auto Playlist to do something similar :
Click the Playlists icon, then Create Playlist dropdown menu, and
finally select 'Auto Playlist'.
Now, click the "Music in my library" and the Remove button. Add
Pictures in my library, then choose Date Added (rather than date
taken, unless you know your camera is saving that info accurately with
the file). Make one playlist for each period (today, this week, this
month, ...)
You can also choose to Sort these though I could only see a sort-by
Caption rather than sort-by Date Taken. That sorting can be achieved
by clicking the header of the columns shown in the library when you
view the matching playlist photos.
