Picture download to picture taken date folders

Maybe somebody could direct me to a proper newsgroup if this isn't it.

When I download pictures from my digital camera, it stores them all in one
folder. Is there a way that I could download them into folders that it
    created by picture-taken date?

I'm not sure you can do that.

However, you *can* create an Auto Playlist to do something similar :

Click the Playlists icon, then Create Playlist dropdown menu, and
    finally select 'Auto Playlist'.

Now, click the "Music in my library" and the Remove button. Add
Pictures in my library, then choose Date Added (rather than date
taken, unless you know your camera is saving that info accurately with
the file). Make one playlist for each period (today, this week, this
    month, ...)

You can also choose to Sort these though I could only see a sort-by
Caption rather than sort-by Date Taken. That sorting can be achieved
by clicking the header of the columns shown in the library when you
    view the matching playlist photos.
