Major error here, you did not buy and pay for the OS, you bought and
paid for a license to use the OS and that's a completely different
thing.

You might want to read the EULA again.

Especially since her problem, from what I can gather, is she is trying
to install a piece of software that was replaced by a newer piece of
software and will NOT work on Windows 7 without major hacking and
modifying of files.

I mean really, complaining that Windows 7 will NOT run a piece of
software it was never meant to run in the first place because it was
superseded by a newer piece of software is a bit crazy.

LESS complicated, you mean.

I do customer support for an application, and numerous times people
have told me that when they upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 their
problems with the application went away.

But if you like Vista better, go back to it. It sounds like you've
made up your mind to dislike Windows 7.
