Since the IE security update this week (I have IE I cannot click on any
drop-down boxes on any webpage (such as the one to select which discussion
group to post in contained in this "New Question" popup), it just freezes and
then crashes the browser (hourglass appears followed by "Internet Explorer
must close" box). This is happening with all dropdown boxes on all websites
(and surveys) I have tried in the last couple of days.
I cannot be sure that it is due to the latest security update but there were
no problems of this kind before. Any suggestions on how to fix would be much
appreciated, failing which how can I get rid of the security update until
they fix it? I am running Windows XP with SP3.
