A LEARNERS’ VIEW (ALV) SERVES AS A PROTOTYPE for demonstrating the minimum number of first principles of learning educators and others may use to instruct lessons that accelerate, increase, and deepen (AID) problem solving performance of learners. ALV addresses learning as solving problems in ways the most accomplished people of civilization have solved them in this or previous centuries. Experimental behavioral and social scientists reported these principles in whole or in parts in descriptions of their research during more than a century. This prototype offers a product open to use, testing and refinement.

ALV represents research that describes learning as occurring in one step with learners having two choices in three stages at four levels while solving one of five generic questions.

It also introduces prototypes of vocabulary and logic to describe and discuss teaching and learning from a learners’ view. These capture the technical meanings of science while using words and terms more familiar to non-scientists.
