I’ll be showcasing Tablet PCs in a booth next week at the Microcomputers In Education Conference here in Tempe, Arizona. The Tablet team has graciously agreed to pay for the exhibit table and I’ll be showcasing two Tablets Lora got on loan: an ST5020 slate from Fujitsu and the Saraha i213 from TabletKiosk. I’ll also have my Toshiba M200 and Acer C110 with me. A mix of convertibles and slates is a good idea at a conference like this.
Now software is what’s going to really make this interesting. I’m loading GoBinder, MathJournal, Physics Illustrator, MathPractice, ArtRage, and the Music Composition and Word Search PowerToys onto each Tablet. I’ll have PenCiruit with me too. What other education-oriented software should I have installed and ready to go? (Oh, yeah, I’ll have PowerPoint, OneNote, and the other standard Microsoft apps too.)
MindManager, and possibly Inspiration.
Great suggestions.
