An Intel press release announced details of the 22nm Intel® Atom™ processors C2000 product family and outlined the company’s strategy for a new server infrastructure.
During a press briefing, the next-generation Intel Atom processor C2000 product family (codenamed “Avoton” and “Rangeley”) was detailed, as well as an outline given of Intel’s roadmap of next-generation 14nm-fabricated products for 2014 and beyond. The chipmaker also released a pair of new server processors today.
