Apple has supported schools and students for decades. This year the back to school program (college students) starts today and ends September 6. Participants will receive gift cards and discounts on products.
According to the Apple website, “you must be a college student, a student accepted to a college, a parent buying for a college student, or a faculty or staff member from any grade level.”
The discount program offers a $100 Mac App Store/iTunes Store/iBookstore gift card with purchase of a new Mac computer. A $50 gift card is offered for the first time purchase of an iPad or an iPhone.The iPhone was not part of last year’s back to school.
