Mobile Connections on the radar

As Fall approaches, it’s time to think about conferences and first up is the developer conference, Mobility Connections.

The conference is going to be held on November 6-9 at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas.

I haven’t purchased my ticket yet, but I’m planning on being there.

The Mobility Connections sessions are sponsored in part by the Mobile PC group at Microsoft so there’s going to be sessions ranging from handwriting recognition, to network awareness, to Sideshow, and to how ink fits in with my favorite new developer platform: Windows Presentation Framework (WPF).

There is one topic I’d like to see more of discussed at the conference: Ink and browsers. As I’ve blogged before, I’d really like to see ink in the browser, including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. Maybe this would be a good Birds of a Feather topic.
