Anywhere Conference

While I’m thinking of conferences…I finally got around to flagging my calendar for the Windows Anywhere conference to be held February 6-10, 2005 in San Francisco. This is the developer event for the Tablet PC.

The official word goes like this:

“Windows Anywhere lets you meet face-to-face with engineers, decision makers, and other software developers influencing Tablet PC development today. Learn how you can improve the total mobile experience for your users by adding digital-ink; prepare for Windows Longhorn, including Indigo; and position your product for success.”

I can’t wait. There is sure to be more Tablet PC creativity under one roof here than at any other time….uh, discounting Microsoft itself.

And I see that for people who register before December 31 they will receive a software gift pack worth $1000. Nice touch. Of course, if you are the winner of the Tablet PC giveaway at the pre and post workshops, this will pale in comparison.
