“New research has shown that between 07 November 2002 and 31 October 2003, only about 92,000 tablet PCs have been shipped in the EMEA region, representing less than 1 percent of the total laptop market. Worse still, the third quarter of 2003 showed the second consecutive quarter of negative growth of tablets, with shipments down 20 percent on the previous quarter.”
