What is a Phablet? The word comes from the combination of a phone and tablet.
Samsung began the trend in 2011 with the introduction of the Galaxy Note. They followed up with the Galaxy Note II. Now, everyone at CES 2013 showed off their own version of the Phablet.
Is it a stupid name? Yes.
Will these fit in a pocket? No.
Consider, a student of mine who developed a holster for his phone. This is his way of carrying his device without a hassle. The idea expands to any type of phone.
