The Tablet PCs have had their critics for almost a decade, yet, enthusiasts know the systems are actually quite powerful. The same will be true of the Apple iPad – there will be critics as well as enthusiasts.
Apple Insider is a wonderful enthusiast site that embedded two great examples of the potential of the iPad – motion magazines. According to AppleInsider:
The living art interactive motion spread was shot with Red Digital’s latest RED ONE camera and new Mysterium-X sensor, allowing them to capture the energy of a still-life action shoot with the motion of a blockbuster film. In addition to action spreads, this enables them to “present a story” to readers before the final frame of their motion covers.

Together with co-directors Cory Strassburger and Ming Hsiung, we produced a motion magazine cover and feature spread for Viv Mag – an all digital magazine, which would allow us to create content that will be able to live on the iPad and other tablet devices where digital magazines can live.
