Tablet PC Program at Springwood School

Springwood School staff offer a useful Q & A that explain their Tablet PC program. A great list for those considering use of Tablets in your schools. A useful reference for those with programs who have teachers and others wondering if their school is alone in considering these tools.

The primary goal is to use technology to enhance the educational experience for all students attending Springwood School. The vision includes providing classroom technology for teachers such as wireless laptops, scanners, digital cameras, projection devices, and interactive white boards. Teachers also have a wealth of new instructional material obtained by downloading digital videos and accessing informative Internet sites. As teacher expertise and laptop affordability improve personal computers for appropriate-aged students will be considered.

Thanks, Springwood. You set a brisk pace for most schools to follow.

Keep up the leadership and best wishes for the 2009-2010 academic year.
