Request for Proposals: HP Technology for Teaching Grant Initiative

Jim Vanides remindes us that HP now accepts proposals for using Tablet PCs in K12 schools as well as in colleges and universities.

I’ve watched and encouraged educators to participate in this program since it started. This is a great program.

What a pleasure to talk with teachers and to hear their reports of student enthusiasm and academic progress with these tools.

Next, let’s make sure that teacher preparation programs use mobile PCs with future teachers. I think that next step will help even more K12 students to increase their learning rates.

Deadline for submitting Proposals: Thursday February 15, 2007, 5 p.m. (Pacific time)
