Google Analytics provides free web traffic analysis

Google Analytics–a free site traffic monitoring from Google–launched yesterday. It’s similar to Webtrends although it’s big plus: It integrates with AdSense.

It’s nice to see a free service (which was once $200/month) like this from Google. If there’s any other company that would like to get in the game, I have a suggestion for a slightly different service: What about providing a tool to track RSS feeds and what people are clicking on? If the RSS-enthusiasts are correct, we’re going to be seeing more and more RSS feeds pumping more and more data across the Internet and tools to monitor this traffic would be welcome. How many people have pulled RSS content? That was unchanged? And clicked on something? When? Where? You get the idea.

What do you know, Pheedo, is releasing an RSS tracking product today that looks like it might fit the bill–well, uh, all except the bill part–I don’t want one. I’m going to hold out for a free or bundled serivice thank you very much.
