I can see that Facebook has a new security method wherein you have to type in your mobile number and they're going to send you a code to double check if you are a human or not.
I think that is a wise method but what if a user doesn't want to share his number? After all, that's a personal information. Don't they have an alternative for such cases? I haven't experienced this though. I became a member of the site before this was implemented.
