Tools option

I have IE8 on Windows 7 and the tools options isn't visible and I can't seem
to find it. How do I get it back? Don't know when it disappeared!

Press & hold down ALT to make the Menu Bar temporarily available or press
ALT+T to open Tools dropdown menu.

Right-click a blank spot, to the right of the last tab. A context menu will
appear. You can select Menu Bar, which is the classic style File Menu that
appears upper left, or you can select Command Bar, which is the newer
Command-button style that IE8 defaults to. It will appear to the right side
of the Tabs. There are other options available from this Context Menu.
