Too many fonts -- Control Panel font folder empty.

Greetings,

I did a stupid thing and installed a huge pile of fonts, which caused my computer to slow waaaay down. I found what appears to be a fix here:

How to restore Windows 7 default fonts.

but the problem is my Font folder in the Control Panel says 0 fonts, so I don't know how to uninstall. Any suggestions? And, naturally, I have no restore point. Because that's the kind of idiot I am.

Sorry if this is a bit basic for you, but when I open the Fonts part of
Control Panel, for some reason I have to click on things a bit before any
fonts are shown - the screen starts blank.

A "huge pile of fonts" WILL take some time to load so you can work with them
in CP.
