The *last* think I would want my Ubuntu install to look like is XP, much
less in Chinese.

Also, doesn't matter what you sell a machine installed with, that can
always be changed (and usually is!)

I would beg to differ. I believe it is quite the opposite. A local
bank is updating there computers here. they have 1,000+ terminals (all
running windows).

I know, I know, they bought the terminals without operating systems
:) But the point is very valid. the vast majority of computers are
sold to people who just use them.

What that should tell you is not to purchase computers from Tesco. If most
of the computers they carry are Linux based, they certainly don't know what
they are doing.

Better seek out a shop with professionals.

Get Windows 7

When you have your own successful store, you can criticize what others
stores do. Your problem is that all you have are lies and lies do not a
store make nor do they make you credible in any way whatsoever. ALL the
computer chains in Spain are offering desktops with Ubuntu as well as
Net books.

Nonsense. Most people would have a panic attack if you told them to
re-install their OS. First they would sh*t a brick and then they would
call their local geek to come help bail them out.

People that can install their own OS probably have no interest in
cheap crappy Tesco and Walmart boxes simply because they are familiar
with the components.

The last "think" that anyone would want on their desktop is that SHITTY

get laid.

Better hurry, I hear all the grocery stores in Spain are now carrying Ubuntu

It was funny but in order to have a sense of humor, one needs to have a
certain level of intelligence.
That leaves you far out of the picture.

You obviously missed the point. Tesco's business is based on selling
cheap stuff. Computers with free operating systems sell for less money
the computers.

As far as "professionals" goes one, Tesco is one of the most
successful retail businesses around. Obviously they are professional
in what they are doing.

This is hardly a unique phenomena, Acer sells aspire netbooks with
Windows for about $100 more money then aspire's with Linux.
