Say What?
A learners' view (ALV) consists of observable patterns of behavior. Learning consists of trying to identify patterns of behavior to complete. A completed pattern solves a problem.
Teachers' lessons contain one or more patterns to complete.
First, learners must identify to which visual, auditory, or other patterns of a teacher to attend. When identified, that answers the question, "How is the teacher teaching this lesson."
Then, learners use that answer to identify the behavior patterns they must identify in the content of the lesson the teacher is trying to get learners to adopt. For example, what patterns of behavior over time have created civilizations, have described beauty, have recharged a battery in a smart phone, etc.
