Thanks for all the research Dave! Your results pretty much confirm what I found, these modems
were made by several vendors (Diamond, Zoom, Creative Labs, etc), a few years ago but now
there's none. I should've realized finding a new one would be tough when VentaFax (the software
manufacturer) refused to recommend or point me towards a speakerphone modem.
Actually I do have a multi-function printer that I can use for the occasional fax, it's just not
as convenient for me.
We *do* have cable (Comcast) for internet-TV-telephone, do you think they might have a
suggestion.
