Organizing notes on a OneNote page

I would like to know if there is a simple way to insert a note container
between a group of notes on a page without having that container be on top
of, or merged with, another note container

I want to use OneNote like a storyboard. If I have several scenes on the
page and I want to add another near the top of the page, I have to manually
move everything down.

Is there a setting or something that I can click to make the containers
automatically move down the page, the same way that text moves down the page
in Word when one pastes a graphic or chart onto the page?

There is a tool on the drawing menu to add extra white space within a page. It looks like a horizontal line with arrows pointing up and down from it. Position the tool between the two containers where you want to add extra space, click the mouse button and drag down. All of the containers and objects below the insertion point will be moved down. You can do this in reverse to decrease extra white space on the page between objects/containers or you can do it vertically to shift things to the left or right.

Good luck.

Mike, that tool on the drawing bar does EXACTLY what I needed to do! I have
been scouring the net for three days trying to find an answer and voila,
there you have it.

Virtual hugs!
