office 2010 beta problen

i installed office beta 2010 did not like it very much so decided to
uninstall, but have problens gets so far then rolls back.

i have a vaio laptop with vista service pack 2, tried the office uninstaller
download but it did not work, i would not mind leaving it alone but i have
the click to run icon in my computers next to the hard disc icon andt this
bothers me any one help please, i am not very technical.

Reason number 4582 to not install a beta on a production machine, especially
in light of the poster's last sentence.

Your best course of action is to format and reinstall all of your
applications. If you have a nasty uninstall with bits left over (especially
beta bits) AND you are not very technical, this is probably the least
painful.

Next time, heed the Microsoft License Agreement for the beta that says you
are NOT allowed to install on a production machine.
