MS office 2007 update issue

I tried to install the most recent updates for MS office and got a message
the install failed. Wore yet, now I can't even bring up Office. When I try
to install the updates or do a repair to office I get the following error:
Error 1402 Setup Cannot open the Registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\.cs\OpenWithProgids. Verify that you have
sufficent permissions to access the registry. I check the permission, which
appear to give me as administrator of my machine full access.
So now I can update, repair or use office. I can't even do an uninstall,
getting the same error message. What to do next? Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Go to that registry key, right click on the key and give yourself
permission.
