which is better Mozilla Firefox or IE8?

It is strictly a personal preference. However there are definite advantages

Adblock Plus is more mature and works better than Adblock IE, so I
hear.

Firefox has prettier themes.

Top posters have poor personal hygiene.

It's entirely a matter of opinion. Whenever you ask a question like
this, you get as many different answers as there are choices
available.

Here's my answer: Maxthon is much better than either, and that's what
I recommend.

But I don't recommend that you simply take my recommendation nor
anyone else's. Try them all and decide for yourself which *you* like
best.

I don't because IE8 was blocking sites as per this article: http://www.slickit.ca/2009/03/internet-explorer-fix-ie8-dep-crashes.html

I hadn't any more time to spend on the issue as I had a project nearing deadline then.

I'm going to reinstall IE8 now to see if I can get it fixed with the advice in the article.
