How long have you used Macrium?
Have you successfully restored with it?
Are you happy with the paid version?
I just did a trial of both the free versions of Macrium and Paragon.
They both seem to work fine.
I did a full backed of the same partition to an external USB drive with
both:
- Macrium took 43 minutes to finish, Paragon took 27 minutes.
- Paragon allowed me to add a comment to the backup. Macrium did not,
but maybe it does in the full version.
- Macrium's B/U was 37 GB, Paragon's was 36.4 GB
