If you have installed Windows XP Pro on your system, how can you
locate the Product ID Key with in the operating system?

    Thanks.

However, this one, the .exe version, wants to install a Bing Bar. I
guess that's a tool bar for the Bing search engine. It doesn't seem
to give any way to bypass this part. I don't want any tool bars. Do
you think the zip version might be different?

    Belarc works just as well.

But FYI, I used the .zip version of Keyfinder and it did not load any
toolbars. I avoid installers when possible.

I never heard that before. I liked the instlaller because I didn't
want to have to make a new folder etc. before I was actually ready to
    install.
