Internet Explorer Appearance

When Internet Explorer opens it has a white background and th page layout is
very plain compared to the normal IE homepage. How do I fix this?
I am running IE8 with Windows 7.

Hi,
You may be in high contrast mode. Try the key combo of (left) Alt + (left)
Shift + Print Screen. That toggles high contrast on/off.

This option is at Control Panel> Ease of access center> Make the computer
easier to see.

Or, does this happen on all pages or just select pages?
