I am scheduled for 150 hours of professional development in June and 120 hours in July. Some of the hours will be done locally (at the high school) and some of the hours will be done professionally (AP, Project Lead the Way).
The professional development done locally can be unproductive and so I setup a quick moodle course to guide the 10 weeks during the summer. If this improves the PD then I will do the same for the PD during the school year.
Here is a snapshot of the first week (as it stands today).
All of the science teachers involved in the PD will have access to the moodle course prior to the first day.
