Using Win7 and IE8

Cannot save favorites because of "class not registered" error. None of my
favorites URL works...they appear in the toolbar, but the URL does not work.

Thanx

Anyone know the exact wording of Jollymoon's "class not registered" error?

I'm sorry, Jollymoon, we're not able to guess. You're going to have to
tell us. And while you're at it, be sure to offer any clues you might
have about possible causes for your problem, since these things don't
happen by themselves.

Did you install Windows 7, or did it come pre-installed on your computer?

My apologies.

the "class not registered" error is in relation to the "IE8 favorites not
working in Win7 after IE8 uninstall" post.

That still doesn't tell me the wording of the error.

I'm not going to search through thousands of posts to find something you
wrote earlier. If you want someone to read one of your earlier posts you
need to provide the URL.

Thanks for answering. The original post was only two posts away and I was
trying to say they were related.

" IE8 favorites not working in Win7 after an uninstall of IE8 and then
re-install "

This Is The Error:..........
"Unable to create 'Google': Class not registered"
when I select inside IE8 with Win7 Ultimate installed "FAVORITES", "ADD TO
FAVORITES"..."Unable to create 'Google': Class not registered"

thanks!

Something to know about a newsgroup: What you see on your screen and
what I see on my screen could be very different. It all depends on our
individual feeds. So you can't say "look two lines up" because it
doesn't work that way.
