well, if your system has been
functioning fine,
then the missing folder is
of no consequence.
however, if you want to scan
for it,
you can try a freeware called
recuva.
it will provide you a listing of
all the deleted files still on the
hard drive that are intact.
so you may find the c
?386
folder still on the hard drive
the questions marks are inserted
as the first character for all deleted
files that are available to be over
written by the system.
however, I would leave well
enough alone.
