I typed a footer and then hit print preview, it changed the words

I typed the footer in and when I go to print it, it changes the wording.What
am I missing.

Changes the wording? Perhaps you are unintentionally including fields in
the footer? You would need to supply exactly what you typed in the
footer, for folks to determine what transpired.
