I have one of the above but find the HDD of 40gb is too small. I'm
wondering about changing to a bigger disk. Anyone done this, and how big a
disk will it take? I learn that it has to be a PATA/EIDE one.

Regards and thanks in advance,

Hi Pat! That should take any 9.5mm 2.5 inch PATA hard drive. Which can
be 320GB or maybe larger. I bought one 120GB and two 160GB PATA drives
for my laptops. And I found them to be too big for my tastes. Although
my Gateway M465e also has a 40GB hard drive. And on that machine, 40GB
is a bit small. So I know what you mean.

You can almost certainly go up to at least 120GB. Maybe larger.
