What programs do you already have?

For example if you have Office 2007 there's a free add-in you can download
that'll let you make PDFs from Word, PPT etc.

IrfanView will also save TIFs and other images as PDFs.

There are some decent free programs to convert files to PDFs. I use PDF
Creater and it works well
