I have tried that that and I can select hibernate when I shut down
manually. What I want is to set the computer to hibernate after a
certain time of inactivity, just like the sleep option. You used to
be able to set this up easily with earlier operating systems.
The reason I want to hibernate instead of sleep is because the
computer does not come out of sleep mode with the video card I have. I
know that hibernate does work for my machine.
