I would suggest to have an option to exclude images from a blog post when creating a new forum thread.
The "issue" is that currently I have set the option to include N amount of characters from a custom excerpt. If a blog post contains image at the top though, it includes the image in the thread and not only it looks weird but it also shows less text as the img tag and the image URL are counted as characters.
It would be also good if there was an option to completely strip styling so that the character count is more accurate. Currently is unpredictable how much text is actually going to be shown.
