Do you have duplicated registry keys, values or data? What exactly are they?
Why would you want to delete them?

NO...there is a reason for them. Don't ask why. Just bloody well
leave them alone. If you delete them, then you will end up with
an unbootable friggin mess.

if you feel a need to
reconcile the registry
keys to the file system

then you might try a
freeware called eusing.

btw: make a system
restore point before
you do the above.

Eusing is not for amateurs.

Also, ERUNT is highly recommended, better, safer and
more reliable than System Restore for the registry - IMHO

Based on your naieve question, you have NO BUSINESS doing *anything* in the
registry. There are supposed to be duplicate entries.

Yes you can but use Ccleaner to do it for you because that way you don't
have to make subjective judgments.

The latest version (

2.30.1130)

is very good indeed.

I agree with you: Let an automatic process do the damage all by itself. What
a great way to go!

Never seen anything damaged by CCleaner yet unless you produce
some tangible evidence. Considering the fact that you are a
member of the Pig Society, your opinion or any manufactured
evidence or 10 years old writings by people who knew very little
about computers is not important to me even if you agree with me.
So f u c k off!
