Help! A couple of weeks ago I started using a new computer w/ Windows 7 and
IE 8. At first I couldn't get on Facebook at all, but I seem to have gotten
that fixed. My problem is when I try to go to one of my apps, or any apps
for that matter, the tab in IE will alternate between showing the IE symbol
and saying "Connecting," and showing the FB symbol and saying "Redirecting."
It just keeps going back and forth in this continuous loop and the only way I
can stop it is by hitting the "x" several times which eventually stops the
navigation. Then to get back to FB, I have to put the address in the browser
all over again. I can't even use the back button. This same thing also
happens when I try to accept any of my gift requests in FB for these apps. I
have tried posting this question in various support forums, all to no avail.
I think maybe it's an IE problem, but I don't know if it has to do w/ my
settings or what. This is getting very frustrating. Can somebody please
give me some guidance? Thanks for your help!
