Continue reading the Original Blog PostDespite Cyber Monday falling in December, November retail sales rose 0.7% over the previous month. This increase was mainly driven higher by big ticket items. A year-to-year gain of 4.7% was also calculated by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The department samples approximately 65% of the business in the retail sector and estimates changes in sales. Confidence levels are generated based on the sample rates.
