According to Venture Beat, News Corp is selling off IGN Network. News Corp purchased the network for $650-million dollars.

This is News Corporations section mess up - with the loss after buying then selling MySpace.

Here is the reality - that many corporate board members do not understand about the internet - websites are generally a personality driven site. If that person or personality is changed then the traffic drops. Consider AOL buying all the tech blogs - only to have traffic drop because the main writers leave after the sale.
