Rob Reed hosted John Campbell's talk about using analytics with Tablet PCs to anticipate student progress in courses at Purdue University. John offers a listenable description of how his project SIGNELS predicts accurately at 60 to 70 percent of about 90 percent of students in the project.

The project uses traditional observable student activity databases about learning. I like the signal system for giving feedback to students.
