Theme: Social duty in the role of educators.

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITY OF EDUCATORS, from a learners’ view (ALV), rests in the social institution of education. That institution alone gives first priority to conveying from one generation to the next what the most accomplished people have done and how they have done it. Educators serve in this institution by their choices as the people who give priority to instruction of formal lessons that convey these accomplishments to succeeding generations of humans. To the extent that educators discharge this duty, they answer the strategic social question, What part does teaching-learning play in the distribution of life-chances of people?
