Sure enough if you “search” for x^2-4=0 you’ll get an answer x=2 (although x=-2 would be nice too 🙂 ). Similarly, sqrt(4) gives 2.
OK MSN team, if you really, really want to make this feature useful you have to run (not walk) over to the Tablet team and talk with them about supporting handwritten equations in the TIP.
