Jacqueline is wondering where to buy a Tablet PC and which one to get. She lives in the Seattle area so if anyone knows of a local computer store that stocks Tablets that she can try, let her know.
Looks like she’s getting some great advice from several commenters and Scoble is offering to demo his machine. Cool.
I’d recommend the Toshiba M200 too–simply for its higher screen resolution (1400×1050). It comes in handy. That being said, I have several friends that run their 21″ desktop monitors all the time in 1024×768 mode. So if that’s the resolution you’re used to, the higher resolution feature in the M200 isn’t going to mean much to you.
I had the same problem and I’m from this area too. It’s part of the reason that it took me over two years to finally buy one. I tell the whole story here: http://www.makeyougohmm.com/pivotblg/entry.php?id=1254 along with the chronology. Good thing I guess blogs do is make it easier to keep track of decisions over time in relation to events 😉
